Description
MAIN FEATURES
TSA1 sensors are triaxial ultrasonic static anemometers for measuring wind speed and direction, Cartesian U-V-W components.
TSA1 is made of AISI316 stainless steel and equipped with an integrated heater. These features allow the anemometer to be installed in a wide variety of applications, even where environmental conditions are prohibitive. RS232 or RS485 serial outputs are available, SDI12 with proprietary Modbus, NMEA or ASCII communication protocols. The TSA1 has three analogue outputs that can be configured to a choice of 4...20mA, 0...5Vdc, 0...10Vdc to which it is possible to associate measurements of wind intensity and direction (horizontal components) or the three Cartesian U-V-W speed components.
ADVANTAGES
- Absence of moving parts minimises instrument maintenance;
- High sensitivity for detecting very low speeds, which cannot be detected with traditional methods;
- Low consumption of the instrument allows installation in remote sites, with power supply from photovoltaic panel and buffer battery;
- Integrated heating prevents snow accumulation and ice formation, allowing accurate measurements in all environmental conditions;
- Quick and easy installation (40 mm diameter pole mount), alignment facilitated by a small integrated compass;
